I use these more on my laptop now, they do have excellent noise cancelling though it's just the 5.1 surround sound is a tad of a let down but the killer for me is the charge is no where near long enough, I have been on the PC where i have had to put in the charging cable and so defeat the object of having wireless. The trouble with the Turtle beach ones though is that they are expensive and randomly go wrong. The sound quality is OK but for me it comes no where a set of Turtle beach headphones I had and that was running of the multiplug port and so was converting 2ch sound to 7.1 but it far surpassed these Sony ones and you could really hear the background noises in games a lot clearer. Update: Having had these for awhile now I get more disappointed with them the longer I have them. I still say they are not upto the Turtle Beach quality but then they are wireless and the quality I hope will be a lot more solid. On turning the option off the sound quality was really good. When you use the Multi plug it cuts the sound quality to the hdmi to 2 ch output and that was what I was getting through the phones. On my PS3 I use the Audio multi out as well as the HDMI, this is due to sound lag on the hdmi with a game called Rocksmith. I originally reviewed these as poor but since then I had come across why the sound was flat.
